With more than 20 years of experience in gourmet and fine dining, Five O’Clock Steakhouse General Manager Stelio Kalkounos knows exactly what has made his restaurant a success, and here he shares some of his insight.
Interviewer: Five O’Clock Steakhouse is one of the hottest upscale dining spots in Milwaukee. What are some of the things you focus on to keep your customers happy and coming back?
Stelio Kalkounos: Since we opened the restaurant, we have focused on using the best ingredients available, and making sure that every customers gets the best service we can offer. These things alone can make or break a restaurant, they’re that important.
Interview: Five O’Clock Steakhouse is a bit different than what most customers are used to when dining at a steakhouse. What is it that sets your place a part?
Stelio Kalkounos: We have a unique atmosphere that you just don’t usually get to experience. We have focused on keeping an old-school supper club ambience. Couple that with our excellent food and beverage offerings, and you have a fine restaurant that people enjoy. Most of customers come back again and again because they really love what we have to offer.
