On September 22, 2015, Five O’Clock Steakhouse Managing Partner Stelio Kalkounos presented the Dryhootch Milwaukee Veteran’s Organization with a check for $1,800 collected over a summer-long dining fundraiser. Mr. Kalkounos said the work that Dryhootch does is important and the restaurant wanted to help the organization support Milwaukee veterans and their families.
Kalkounos and four representatives of Dryhootch Milwaukee held a meeting in which they discussed ways in which the organization continues to supports veterans, including fundraisers, job programs and the alcohol-free coffee shop the organization operates as a social spot for veterans and friends.
Kalkounos said the generosity of the customers of the steakhouse was overwhelming, and said the retro supperclub will continue to work with the organization and looks forward to collaborating on more fundraisers in the future.
