Just last week Five O’Clock Steakhouse, where I am managing partner, launched a delectable new specials menu, but don’t worry, that 32-ounce Tomahawk steak is still on it, just with a little different presentation. This time it is served with one of our featured sides: tangy wasabi mashed potatoes and teriyaki au jus.
We’ve also got a pan-seared Alaskan halibut with jalapeno and roasted corn salsa, avocado mousse and fried egg.
Over on the cocktail side, there’s Wally’s fresh new Whiskey Blues with whiskey, blueberry acai probiotic, sweet & sour mix, simple syrup, lemon twist, muddled blueberries and topped with blueberry whiskey foam.
As always, I’m dedicated to ensuring we offer a tantalizing range of non-alcoholic options at the restaurant and joining the ever-growing list of N/A “Clocktails” is the Spicy Limonata with fresh lemon juice, fresh ginger, jalapeno, Stevia extract, club soda and a lemon twist.
