The foot-tapping weekend evenings at the historic Alley Cat Lounge in Milwaukee, Wisconsin is ready to entertain you during the month of November. The Alley Cat Lounge was formerly known as Coerper’s Five O’Clock Club in the 1940’s, where the elite would spend their evenings sipping cocktails served by ladies called “kittens.” Patrons could sneak in through the back alley entrance by ringing a hidden buzzer, which can still be found today.
Today, the Alley Cat Lounge has been restored to its former glory, and managing partner Stelio Kalkounos has mixed some new elements in with the old to preserve the integrity of the lounge. Every weekend on Friday and Saturday nights, the lounge hots some of the most talented musicians, singers, and bands to perform for guests. This November, the lounge has a full lineup of musicians including favorites such as Christopher’s Project, Gabriel Sanchez, and Kirk Tatnall.
